On a couple different occasions, we borrowed/rented a small loader to
carve out some new jumps in the lot near my house. |

Both the wooden takeoffs, two decent dirt landings, and even a fresh
dirt takeoff that we built at the riding area that we affectionately
called, "The 63rd Street Compound." The wooden platform in
the center was used on top of my friend's truck to give him a higher
perspective while taking pictures. |

A couple of the jumps we built. |

The big step-up pictured at left from the side(s). This one was about 95 feet long with
a 15 foot "step" to it (the increase in elevation). As soon
as you landed, you had to get on the gas hard for the next jump in
the rythem, another step-up that was about 80 x 10 feet. |

Practicing one afternoon. March 2002. |

The Google Maps image of our compound in 2002. With a private, gated
entrance from 63rd street on the south (and a gravel driveway), we
were able to truck in equipment and build new jumps at our leisure.
We pretty much ran the place. |
