"Landing Ramp"
Landing - Term which describes the wooden, metal, or dirt slope which the rider comes in contact with as a direct result of gravity bringing the bike and rider down to the earth. The purpose of a landing is to soak up the force of the motorcycle and rider as they contact the earth. The steeper the landing ramp, the softer the landing. A steeper landing is also harder to land on, as it represents a smaller targer to the bike and rider.
